New Missal workshop draws a crowd

Superior General’s visit drawing to an end

Marist Fathers’ Superior General, John Hannan has all but wound up his visitation of the New Zealand province, meeting up with seven Marists on Saturday and catching the St Pat’s 1st XV defeat Scotts College, 74-0. He’s having Sunday off.

- Processed the financial bracket with key issues including: Highden farm, Waimarama, Investment Policy (including an ethical policy), approved $110,000 going to the General Administration, approval of the income and expenditure budget for the General Trust for the coming year.
- Discussed the agenda for the Marist Asia Pacific (MAP) meeting (15-17 June)
- Noted the National Network of Marist Schools National Conference (17-18 June) at which Gerry Arbuckle is principal speaker.

On Tuesday Pa Maria launched Pray the News, an Internet-based service that provides an opportunity to see the news with fresh eyes.
