The Committee discussed the International English Language Novitiate now established in the Philippines, and has made recommendations to the superior general regarding the staffing of the International Spanish-Language Novitiate and the International Theologate. An English-speaking renewal group began recently at La Neylière, France and began their pilgrimage to Marist Places, guided by Fr Bernd Kordes, with a visit to Le Puy.
The nine participants are Joel Aliligay (Ph), Kevin Duggan (USA), Leonard Hivirkon (O), John Hopkinson (S), Ron Nikodem (USA), Joseph Kluwen (O), Bruce Leary (USA), Giuliano Sellini (PV) and Kevin Stewart (S). They come from a broad range of ministries across the SM world.

The team for the Combined Marist Family Midlife Renewal for 2010 is meeting at Monteverde from 27 March to 1 April.
After an interruption of 3 years, the District of Africa has assembled a new group of postulants. In the “Maion Saint-Pierre Chanel” six Cameroon young men are preparing for their studies, together with two formators, Frs Louis Niyongabo and Raymond Pelletier. In the first edition of their bulletin “Rameau” they talk about their vocation, their experiences and their hopes for the future.
