The Marist Novitiate in Mexico is drawing to a close and three new Marists will be professed on 31 July. Peter McAfee, the novice master is asking for prayers for these three young men as they begin to make their final preparations for their first profession.
Matt Crawford is due to be ordained a priest on Saturday 4 September. The ordination will take place at 11am in his home parish of St Francis Xavier, Whangarei.
Having completed his theology studies, Matt is currently ministering as a Deacon at St Mary of the Angels parish in Wellington.
Looking to go teaching next year, Matt is also attending Wellington Teachers College. At the moment he is “on section” at St Mary’s College.
