General Chapter: “On Task”

The capitulants spent most of the morning working in their topic groups and redrafting their documents for presentation to the Chapter. The capitulants are certainly “on task” and, while there is still much work to be done before the close of the Chapter on Wednesday, they are making good progress. In plenary session, the Chapter also discussed some key legislative matters: a process of conciliation and a possible process for the election of provincials. The proposals of the topic groups dealing with governance and Mission and Ministries (formerly Context and Mission) were reviewed.

The day concluded with the acceptance of the Finance Committee report and a revised and updated Decreta Capitularia
