Not-for-profit facilitation

Fr Jeff Drane receives an acknowledgement of his community contribution from the local Member of Parliament, Annette King.
Fr Jeff Drane receives an acknowledgement of his community contribution from the local Member of Parliament, Annette King.

Jeff Drane has been engaged in community development and adult education since 1990.

After twenty years as a community coordinator involved in working with helping the poor get their social welfare entitlements, mental health consumers, newly arrived migrants and refugees, Jeff brings an integrated experience and tertiary qualification to facilitation of not for profit and faith based organisations.

Jeff also offers individual supervision and mentoring for community and social workers.

He assists with organisations being established, or to have ongoing strategies for development and succession planning, and offers organisations cultural and structural analysis so that in times of scarce resources they can make better decisions and focus their service delivery.

Jeff is qualified especially to help those in difficult roles working with the most needy in New Zealand society, in a time when the gap between rich and poor is greatest. He is part of the Wellintown team and also works with seafarers through the Apostleship of the Sea ministry.
