Marist Seminary

Marist Seminarians, Priests, and Sisters gather at the Marist Seminary around a statue of Our Lady.

The Marist Seminary is located in Auckland, New Zealand and is the training centre for those preparing for Marist religious life and the Catholic priesthood.

The way of life provides a faith environment in which seminarians undertake the spiritual, academic and pastoral training required to become priests and brothers of the Society of Mary.

The Marist Seminary is part of an international network of Marist Seminaries.

On the Marist Seminary website answers can be found to questions such as:

  • What is Vocation?
  • What is Discernment?
  • What are some of the signs of God calling in my life?
  • How do I make a decision?
  • What are the stages of training to be a Marist?
  • What does a typical day at Marist Seminary look like?
