Society of Mary USA publishes first newsletter

“I am happy to be greeting the larger audience of our readers in this first issue of the Society of Mary’s US Province newsletter to all of our friends throughout the country”. Said Marist Provincial, Fr Ted Keating who this week published the first edition of the new United States Provincial Newsletter.

Society of Mary USACommenting on the transition, Fr Keating says, “Thanks be to God, it has been a fairly smooth transition, with only the normal challenges in a restructuring of this type.”

While the newsletter has been a first, the new province has been through two sessions of its first Chapter, had meetings of its new Provincial Council and a meeting of the Council of the Province, all to help shape and structure the new province and its mission.

A further sign of the new province is a new website and domain name, www.societyofmaryusa.org.
