General Chapter: Day four
The dynamic of the Chapter process changed significantly today. The first three days have been devoted to providing important information about the current state of the Society. Today the capitulants took up the challenge of actively engaging with the material through a process of discernment and identification. General Chapter: Day Three
Following on from yesterday, the program for Day 3 consisted mainly of reports from the Major Superiors. Each was given an opportunity to draw attention to the significant issues facing each of the provinces and districts. The presentations were well received and provided the capitulants with an accurate, informative and helpful understanding of the challenges, difficulties and hopes that call for a renewal in the Society’s effort to continue “building a new Church” in the spirit of Mary.
