Re-modelling of St Mary of the Angels presbytery

In the course of 2010, the community accommodation at St Mary of the Angels will be extensively renovated.

Primarily this work is the responsibility of the Parish and Archdiocese, but the New Zealand Province will also be making a significant financial contribution because of the number of men we wish to have in the Community at St Mary’s, now and for the foreseeable future.

While the work in in progress, possibly for six months, the Community at St Mary’s will need to move out. Individuals will be accommodated in various Wellington communities during this time.

The community at St Mary of the Angels is a very generous host to many guests and once the renovations are complete, they’re looking forward to welcoming visitors again. In the meantime, accommodation in Marist houses in Wellington will be tight.
