Marist Superior General, John Hannan has appointed New Zealand Marist, John Murphy as a member of the international Financial Review Committee.
The committee was established as a result of the 2009 General Chapter. It’s purpose is to gather, collate and analyse all the relevant data concerning the financial resources of the whole Society, and then use what they have found to develop a draft strategy for the future management of the Society’s resources.
The draft strategy will be presented to the major superiors for discussion and critique prior to the next Council of the Society.
John will join a the committee comprising Marists, Joaquin Fernandez, John Harhager and Kevin Mowbray, and Mr Donal O’Brien, a chartered accountant and advisor to the Ireland region.
