John Walls home after “full on” year

John Walls has found a cheap flight from LA and will return home briefly, after holidaying in Rarotonga.

John is currently working at Marist College Atlanta, where it’s been a full on year. Among his other duties has been involved in coaching Track and Field, especially the High Jump.

Recently he was interviewed by the local Dekalb County Neighbour newspaper (circulation – over 70,000 readers) about what he was to give up for Lent!

Also recently he was asked to give the invocation ( ‘say the prayer’) at the Boys and Girls Basketball games one evening and received a round of applause from the opposition Cheerleader team!

The Marist College coach later commented that no-one has been applauded for a prayer at Marist before. Winning therefore did bring an element of relief.
