NZ Marist Youth Leader for Australian students too

Fr Mark Walls sm and New Zealand Marists have welcomed Year 11 students from Marist College Burnie and St John’s College Woodlawn to participate in Marist Youth Leadership Programmes held in Christchurch.

Principals, Sue Chen (Burnie) and Glen Roff (Woodlawn), with senior staff, students and parents have given the New Zealand program the highest praise. The Australian province has assisted with finance to enable the students to partake in this program. This January, ever-green Australian Marist, Paul Pidcock accompanied the Woodlawn students to Christchurch.

Mark Walls in particular has been most generous with his energy, time and expertise in working with students and staff of Burnie and Woodlawn Colleges over the past couple of years.

Mark and Gerry Hall were key input givers and helpers wit the successful “Staff Retreat”, held for all Woodlawn staff in December 2009.
