Marists in Samoa Safe

The Acting Provincial, Phil Cody, has been in touch with the Provincial of Oceania, Paul Donoghue who confirmed that the Marists in Samoa were safe.

Speaking from Fiji, Paul Donoghue said that he had just been talking with the Marists in Samoa and that this was the first conversation he has been able to have with them. Communications with Samoa have been difficult.

Regarding Tonga, Paul said they’re not too sure yet, especially with regards the relations of the Marists.

The province has indicated to Paul that it is willing to make a contribution to their relief efforts, and will do so when they know more clearly what is needed.
