Postulants in the District of Africa
After an interruption of 3 years, the District of Africa has assembled a new group of postulants. In the “Maion Saint-Pierre Chanel” six Cameroon young men are preparing for their studies, together with two formators, Frs Louis Niyongabo and Raymond Pelletier. In the first edition of their bulletin “Rameau” they talk about their vocation, their experiences and their hopes for the future.

An enthusiastic group of 5 young men joined Frank Bird and Pat Brophy on the latest edition of the Marist Hikoi. As you will be aware, this annual Hikoi is part of our vocations promotion strategy, which is, in summary; contacting suitable young men, giving them information about the Society and Marists, and at the right time, inviting them to consider a Marist vocation. The Province together with the Australian Province sponsored a meeting for 8 young Marists at Whangaparoa from Sunday 15 to Saturday 21 February.
