The International Formation Committee met at the General House, Rome, this week.
The Committee discussed the International English Language Novitiate now established in the Philippines, and has made recommendations to the superior general regarding the staffing of the International Spanish-Language Novitiate and the International Theologate.
Other matters discussed by the Committee included the implications of the Society’s commitment to international formation, financing international formation, formation and training of formators, vocational recruitment, prenovitiate formation, and brothers’ formation.
The members of the Committee are: John Hannan (Chairman), Lote Raiwalui (Secretary), Paul Donoghue, Larry Sabud, Alejandro Muñoz and Roberto Furtuoso. Phil Gage was present as translator. Craig Larkin is the contact person with the general administration.
