Craig Larkin accepts two International Marist tasks

Craig Larkin has accepted two tasks offered by the Superior General, Fr John Hannan, the development of a Training Program for Formators and the writing of a prayerful guide, reflecting on the Marist Constitutions.

In its further implementation of the Society’s program for international formation, the Superior General and his Council are planning to put into effect the decisions of the general chapter to have a team of well trained formators available for initial formation and it has been decided to begin a program for the training of a team of formators at the general house, Rome, commencing in January 2011.

Craig, the Vicar General in the previous General Administration, was originally going to be available for an appointment in New Zealand next year. Instead he and will take up residence at the general house in November.

Fulfilling another requirement of the General Chapter, the Superior General has also commissioned Craig to write a guide for prayerful reflections on the Constitutions.
